Hey all, hope everyone’s been well.
I’ve been chatting with a guy online for about 2 wks and we’re meeting up tonight at a “casual ambiance, upscale, classy” restaurant nearby for dinner and drinks. I was thinking of wearing a full length spring / sun dress with a light sweater and 3in sandals. He’s 6ft (according to his profile) and I’m 5’3” so I won’t be towering him at all lol. Is this too much? I don’t want to appear overdressed, or underdressed in jeans. The dress isn’t fancy by any means, it’s just cute very “spring like”. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Personally, I’ve been dying for an opportunity to wear a cute dress over the past year! I say do it! Don’t overthink and just have fun :)
Thanks Miss A!! :) I’m so excited to finally take it out of the closet again lol I miss dressing up so much, too!
If you’re meeting at a “casual ambiance, upscale, classy” restaurant- jeans are out of the question…
Wear what you look & feel great in… Have fun!
Hi-That sounds lovely/fine. Don’t overthink it….
Go for the cute dress!
(I’m jealous you can dress up! 😊)
Have fun!!
I always wear a skirt or dress on first date. I could care less if I’m overdressed. I love them and they make me feel sexy. Trust me your plan is great.
Thank you all! I wore the dress and felt sexy as f lol. Had so much fun, after dinner we went to the casino (it’s been ages since I played tables) and not only did I get my ego stroked, I won some money! Lol
I do like the guy, while he tried to suggest coming home with me, I maintained a hard No. but 2nd date possible…
Either way, I had so much fun!
