    In all honesty, even before we got together it was usually me initiating when/where we meet up but the more invested I am in this relationship, the more tired I am of being the one who asks when we will next see each other. I’m sure he wants to be with me, but he’s pretty useless at asking to see me which does sometimes make me feel slightly deflated. Any suggestions on what I can do??

    Hi Kezza,

    How do you know he wants to be with you if you are the one in charge of meeting all the time. Test it out and see if he has interest level – don’t initiate and see if he does.

    If he doesn’t then his interest level is not there and it is time to find someone who will have interest in seeing you.

    I’m going to cease contact with him for a while, it’s starting to distract me from my studies and I need to concentrate on those as I have a lot of exams/projects coming up very soon. Thanks for the feedback :)

    Update – I said to him that he never really asks me to hang out and he just said, “It’s because I’m quite busy!” I haven’t bothered replying… guess I’m too busy!

    It is so hard for us women to understand sometimes…..it’s not what he says, it’s what he does. Period.

    He may really care for you in some way, and he may really express it,

    But if he is not doing anything about it, that’s all that should matter to you.

    You want a guy who gets you, and brings out the best in you. Not one who makes you second guess the relationship.

    Run, don’t walk, away from that.
