boyfriend on holiday bored of texting me

hi,
I have been with my bf for 1.5 years, he is not really a texter, he can go all day without talking but always calls me at the end of the day. He went on holiday with his daughter and because of the time difference I was waking up to text from him etc but since Saturday he made it quite obvious he is annoyed with my texts and to be honest I can understand why because they became quite repetitive and boring as he is not doing much there. He would still call and text but I can tell he is not really enjoying it.
i am starting to think he might be losing interest and I went into this crazy mode where I was forcing the conversation just to talk to him especially when I was seeing he was online on whatsapp.
I have apologized but I can sense something is still not right.
He is back on Friday and he was meant to be seeing me but he might have to go somewhere else to sort his second home so it made me even more worried.
he told me before he went that he is going to spend every weekend with me in November.
I am just a bit disappointed with myself and thinking I might have ruined it , I was ok with not hearing from him all day but somehow I couldn’t do it when he is away…
you think he might break up with me over this?
