So this guy and I were classmates for 4 years. He flirted with a few of my friends and I think he genuinely liked one of them. He also fell in love with a girl and dated her for less than a year but they had to break up. Half a year after his breakup he asked me out. So my question is, is it really possible to have known someone for a few years, flirt with the people around them but slowly get attracted to them as you get closer?
