Go on the date. I was cancelled on a couple of days before a scheduled date. Same thing, the guy said he had a family emergency and asked if he could reschedule when the crisis passed. I said sure. Well, two weeks went by. Then,he contacted me and we had a great date. Anyway,we have been together in an exclusive relationship for 5 months now. He took down his profile after our 3rd date.
The crisis turned out that his ex developed a serious/life-threatening infection and was in hospital and his kids were worried and upset. A good guy!
8 months!!! I have a 2 week limit of talking to a guy. If he doesn’t ask me out in two weeks I move on. You need to adopt a strategy like this, because men who wait are not that keen.
Met a guy online, had two weeks text messaging and exchanging pics. He asked me out on a specific weekend, flew here just to meet with me. Few hours before we will meet, he texted and apologized that he needed to reschedule because he didn’t sleep from his migraine. Of course, I played cool. But I saw him logged on online dating. I logged in too and he deleted his profile and blocked me on WhatsApp after I texted him if he met someone else, I’ll leave him alone.
I will never cancel on a very last minute in respect to the other party.
I never heard back from him.
How do you know he actually flew to wherever you are to meet? It sounds like he was playing games — who flies to meet someone then doesn’t? And then blocks you, WTF? I dont’ think he actually flew anywhere and had no intention of meeting you. Consider yourself lucky in that situation that it never progressed. What a dork.
Ris, He was cat phishing…
