Is it wrong to tell some that you were disappointed? I was FaceTiming with a guy, he said he had to go but would call me back in 45 minutes. He was texting me but never called back. I asked him a question via text and several hours went by. He was about to board a flight so I said have a safe flight and I could have sworn you said you were calling me back…
Two hours later he texts me that he had gone to the bar for a drink, missed his flight. Then another two hours later told me he ended up getting dinner somehow.
I texted him this morning saying I was disappointed that we didn’t get to talk again. I enjoy our conversations and especially seeing him. I said but it’s hard to compete with the bar and dinner. I told him I was glad he had a good time though and was safe. He read it but didn’t respond. I asked him later how did he end up missing the flight…
Was I wrong to say any of this?
How well do you know this guy?
Did he go to a bar because he missed his flight, or he missed his flight because he was out drinking? If it’s the latter, just peace out. I’ve had a couple guys blow me off on an early date for booze, so I immediately let them go because they were complete messes. At least they showed it early on!
Throw this one back. He was supposed to call you back. He didn’t. Being in a bar drinking and having dinner for hours, he had plenty of time to call you. He chose not to. That’s a strong message he sent you there. Don’t be disappointed – just be gone.
