The man I was dating broke up with me over a misunderstanding.. Both our faults, but more his than mine I believe. After 2 weeks we had a conversation yesterday, but no talk about getting back together.
I sent him a cute email with Trump doing something ridiculous(Who knew! :), and he replied ‘Very cute, I’m having a beer and hamburger at a local sports bar.. No plans tonite. Do you have a date tonite?” He wasn’t asking me out, we’re long distance..
Do I have to respond? I thought about responding tomorrow and saying.. “Just saw this this morning.. Just went out with friends”. What should I do?

Hi Kathy-do you want to get back together,think things can be straightened out? I would not play games,pretend you have a date. Just respond that you are looking forward to a relaxing evening-something vague. Just leave it at that.

Hi Peggy, I appreciate your answer.. I may want to get back with him, but I don’t know yet.
I mostly believe what he is saying about not having plans tonite, but I’m not sure.. He could possibly have plans and just be fishing for an answer from me. I’m not positive..
Because I’ve had so many things happen to me in the past with dating, I don’t totally trust everything someone says to me. So, I probably won’t respond tonite, like Raven mentioned.
I hate to be this jaded, just playing my cards carefully. This was by email instead of text, so he really doesn’t know if I got this so soon.
