Mark.. from someone who’s going through it I believe you should go after her. In my case I was with my ex for over 4 years actually would’ve been going on 5 tomorrow. Long story short our chemistry was amazing and all in all everything was pretty good except everything happend really fast… that includes us cohabitating first with his parents and then alone. The point I’m trying to make is that it’s been 8 months and I can’t stop thinking about him and he tells me the same thing. It’s never happened to me before and again he states the same thing. I thought it was infatuation. Lust, custom, or even obsession, so I decided to cut off all contact for a week at first… thsy didn’t work. Til this day we still talk to each other even though we have not found a way to go back with each other. I believe he’s going through the same thing you’re going through… fear of commitment. He’s 24 and I’m 28. But as a woman I’m already looking to have a family and now he wants freedom “so he says” but yet still contacts me. His ego is hurt as well because I left due to his lack of attention toward me… all in all, take a chance unless you’re ready and willing to let another guy take your place.
