Yes, your last response did come across a bit abrasive but I sense it’s because he
asked numerous times what your plans are but he hasn’t suggested anything concrete (with the exception of his “house” invite)…
If I had a nickel for every time I ran into a guy like this, I’d be a rich woman. ;)
He’s playing games — because he can. There are much better men out there — leave this one behind.
And next time a guy flirts via text about taking you out, take it with a grain of salt.
As far as our guy DNA goes, we’re wired to get excited quickly . This guy is not serious . My problem would not be with the ” giving the phone number ” issue but with the concept of the dating app to start with . Humans were not made to get the first contact thru a small photo on a cell phone . We get excited being close to people , hearing them laugh… Their conversation, the way they treat others , their problem solving capabilities. When writing down their physical data , some tend to bend the numbers in their favor creating expectations . I hope some ” unicorn ” Palo Alto start up will find a way to change the dating scene with a technology that brings humans in actual physical contact as a way to create the initial chemistry instead of the shallow trend we’re in now . As the saying goes … You don’get a second chance to make a good first impression .
What did I say about not eating crumbs? Do not be Ms. Bird :o)
He’s sending these random messages because he is hoping you will either plan out a night to meet him at his place (not looking for a relationship) or just give him attention. And I think it’s helpful for the OP to read up on all of these types of men herself. That’s how you learn best by figuring it out yourself, not just to be told.
