Cindy honey, you’re missing the big picture and ya gotta learn to play the game. :)Yes just calling and having a talk is certainly practical and cuts to the chase, but in this circumstance, calling is pursuit and his job not yours. I know it sounds silly and 1950s but there’s a balance in the courtship dance between the male and female roles. When you throw the balance off by taking the male role early on, you don’t get to find out up front if he was really interested in you or just went along because you were the pursuer, and what he’s really made of, and if he’s an alpha or beta male.

It’s like Maddie said, you only initiate things when he’s shown enough interest and done his job of showing interest.
