girl said she was really in to me then disappeared

I have been dating/talking to this girl for about 3 months, she has been telling me how much she likes me and how much she misses me when I’m not with her. Also she has showed me conversations she’s had with her mam and her friends saying how mature I am and how good she thinks I’d be for her, then she went quiet for a day and I messaged her just asking how her day was and she said her grandad had been taken to hospital and she was a bit upset and work has been really stressful. Said she just needed a break from everything, so I said just relax and have a few days to yourself and give me a text if you want to talk, she said she definitely would text me. It’s been 4 days now and I haven’t heard anything, am I being too needy or should I be worried?

This is just me, but I’d send her a text of support that requires no answer for example,
“Hey, hope everything is going better with your family and work. Have a good day!”

DO NOT launch into – Where are you? Do you still like me? Why did you disappear?

Just send a brief message of support. It’s hard to expect someone to engage when they are going thru a rough patch, but yeah, at the same time, a screeching halt to communication never feels good for anyone.

It’s been almost 3 months…have you asked her to be in an exclusive relationship with you? Do you consider her your girlfriend? And did you have a pattern of daily calls and texting?

If so then definitely reach out and see how she’s doing and offer to take her out for a drink, dinner, movie, etc to get her mind off things. But realize it’s possible her grandfather has taken a turn for the worse or even passed away and she is wrapped up with all that and family.

If the answer is no to my first two questions then maybe she’s waiting for you to make it official and that is weighing on her because around the 3 month mark a man needs to decide if he wants a long term relationship with a girl or not!!
