Guy best friend trying to make me jealous?

Hi folks! :)
So I have this confusing situation with my GBF, and I would like a second opinion just to know if my brain is running wild or there is something to my suspicion..

So we have been really good friends for about 7-8th months, and we are really comfortable with each other, talk about everything and has literally no secrets from each other.. Yes I know, hard to truly believe, but he is like super honest and I’m compelled to do the same…
The thing is that he broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago, and three days ago we ended up having sex (which was not the first time for us).. This is not a habit though, but when it happens we just don’t read anything more into it, and nothing between us is changed..
The thing is he always talks about other girls with me, but yesterday when I was at his place he went a little overboard talking about this girl he met at the bar last night (he got her Facebook, wrote to her but she didn’t answer).. But that’s not the thing, he continued talking about a lot of ex girlfriends, showing me their pictures, telling me what he like about them now and then…
So I got the feeling he was trying to get me jealous, or at least see how I reacted to all these other girls…. Either that or he is just making very sure that we are not more than friends…

So is it just my mind reading this wrong.. Or did he just test me? (If I got jealous)…
