Hey guys! So the guy I matched with on a dating app finally mentioned we should meet, I asked what he had in mind. He said “it depends when you are free” well this was on Thursday and I had really busy weekend ahead, so I told him the following Wednesday or Thursday would work best for me. He never answered my question on what it is that we were going to be doing/going. He said “i’ll figure something out for Wednesday or Thursday”. That was 3 days ago, haven’t heard from him l and tomorrow is Tuesday.
My question is was me saying I wouldn’t be available almost a week after he asked too far out for him to even consider going out? Should I confirm if we are still on (I don’t want to come off as desperate when he initiated meeting)

Who knows, who cares. Live your life… both those nights are free until he tells you which one is taken. Don’t confirm
anything. If he suggests after tmrw night either of the days…“Hi there bob! Thanks so much for reaching out! Unfortunately, I am no longer available. When I did not hear from you, I assumed something came up and made other plans. I do still want to connect, and am free Friday, Sunday or Tuesday. Might any of those work for you :-)?”

if a guy is interested you’ll hear from him, especially if he’s already said about going out. Some guys act differently though. I once had a guy who made an arrangement then I didn’t hear from him till the day, and said sorry i made other plans as I hadn’t heard any more. We ended up making another plan a couple of days later.
Definitely don’t contact him but think about if you want to soften your words a little to what has been suggested- though its great as it is.
The other thing to consider is not to play games. If you are busy then fine, but actually if you are free and want to meet then why not? Thoigg I wouldn’t do the same day if he messaged on that day.
I’d likely go with
Hey Bob! Good to hear from you. Can’t do tonight now I’m afraid as I wasn’t sure we were still on so made other plans. I am still free tomorrow though.
Sometimes a woman can seem too busy that a man wonders if he’d ever fit in. I’ve just had that happen with a nice guy, who I couldn’t see for over a week. He commented on it then we have kind of left it there.
