He's still dating other women?

Hi! well I need your advise. I met this guy online on a dating site a year ago but we never went on a date until a few months ago. We had each other on facebook so he contacted me through that. We went on a date and talked about that obline dating site and he said he wasnt on it. So we started seeing each other, things were going great.. he would stayed at my place and I would stayed at his. He went to London for 3 weeks for work and he even offered me the keys on his apt here while he was away. We have been seeing each other for 6 weeks or so. Before he left we had this conversation about dating other people…. And I told him is ok if you go out and meet other girls, that can happens and if you feel you have a stronger connection just let me know and none of us waste out time. we agreed. Two days ago my best friend send me the screenshot of his profile in a dating site and I send it to him. He said he hasnt use it in weeks ( even thought before he told me he didnt have it… buf I didng tell him that) and i was like ” well is ok … I just didnt know you were actively dating. and he goes ” well what do you think if I was ?” ans I said… I dont think that is what I want… I mean is not that we are bf and gf but we are getting to know each other and giving this a chance so when is enough enough? when is the grass stop being greener on the other side? so I guess you can date as many women as you want just not while with me. So if you want to do that I think is better if we stop talking. He answered ” well if you think is better if we stop talking then ee are in a very different place LOL ( yes he said LOL) but thats cool” so I answer ” ah? what do you mean” … never texted me back ( well it has been two day) … Now what I need your opinion on is 1. did I acted crazy? 2. shouldve waited a little longer? thank you… because ive heard so many opinions that now I dont know if I should text him and be like ok you can date and I am gonna start dating too…. even though that Is not what I want.
