Hi all,
Been through a break up recently and it has really upset me. I’m feeling really low and in physical pain as this just came out of the blue. I feel like I’m grieving.
I am focussing on me, my career, going to the gym, working through my own issues and feeling the feelings when they come hoping it will make me feel better.
I don’t have many friends as in the midst of this I had a massive falling out with my friend and the friend group has sided with her (they don’t know she was cheating on her husband and it’s a moral dilemma which I am firmly staying out of) so I feel really lonely although I have great family support they’re fed up now after two months of listening to me.
Please tell me your tips and what you’ve done to get over your break up because I just want to feel normal again.
Everyone is different. You just need some time I think as you’re doing all the right things .
Some people say it’s good to start dating again but it doesn’t work for everyone and sometimes might be a bit unfair.
I always try and find some negative things about that person haha and that helps me to get over them quicker .
Depends on what kind of a breakup you’ve had. If it was bad it will certainly take time. You are doing the right things already. Just keep going. Make sure to include fun activities in your day and keep busy. All the best.
More distraction. Get obsessed with something absorbing
