The ex-fiance is really starting to push me over the edge.
I blocked him from calling me.
Now he sends me a picture of the moon through messenger. Blocked him there now too.
A picture of a moon doesn’t take away years of abuse and cheating. Nothing ever will.
(end of rant)
AMEN TO THAT !!!
I found venting through writing to be cathartic when going through my divorce. Its helpful in the first four to six months but you do need to write the final chapter and start the process of rebuilding a new life without him in it.
Mine was took about five months and four pages. When I wrote the final paragraph, I printed it, went to the patio and fired up the grill, burnt it, and then made me a nice steak dinner :o) At that point all my focus and attention was on ME! I joined a co-ed softball team, joined meetup and filled my calendar with fun events, I focused on my career, I focused on my hobbies and before I knew it I scaled the ladder (read seven stages of divorce) and finally found the inner peace and tranquility that I had been seeking for so long.
Venting is a part of the journey but you at some point you need to start taking the path towards peace and harmony.
Thanks.
This was an ex-fiance from years past that I had not spoken with in years who reached out to me.
He’s since ceased contact so all is good.
I was just frustrated when I wrote this.
Feels good to get it out doesn’t it?
Im happy for you that you’re not bothered by it and he is leaving you alone.
Thanks!
Though he called again even after I blocked the number.
Just have to ignore it.
