Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 6 months and we only see each other once a week… he works so I don’t even expect him to on the days he works but the days he are? He just texts me that day. The one day we spend he’s off that day, and I spend the night, and the next day I go home and he goes to work. I don’t understand why he doesn’t see me the days he’s off. We used to see each other more when we worked together but I don’t work there anymore.
When I brought it up to him he said “I want to see you everyday” (not in a bullying way, but he did say that pretending to be me). I’m trying to see him maybe 2 days out of the week, so for him to say that makes me feel like I’m being needy or whatever.
P.s. we live in the same city and he lives about 5 MINUTES from me
Would you be okay with seeing your boyfriend only once a week?

Are you kidding me? He’s showing super low interest and likes having regular sex—bet its always his place too. A man who’s super interested wants to SHOW YOU what a great partner (husband) he would make! If he’s not doing any of this then your a ‘placeholder’ someone he’s wasting time with until he meets the woman he wants a future with—this guy wants to be with you a lot!

That wouldn’t work for me. The only guy I regulalry saw only once a week was a FWB. We’d have dinner, drinks and he’d stay the night. Sometimes I’d see him in the week too.
I would consider once a week FWB, not a relationship.
