If a guy asks you to his party?

I’m in my first year of college. I posted a selfie on Instagram and this popular guy from my high school liked it and gave me his number. We flirted on occasion in high school but didn’t really have any classes together. We’ve been texting for almost 2 weeks now. He told me the first day he wanted to see me and we were planning on hanging out last week but he had to help with the stockshow. He wanted me to come to his house the other night but it was a school night and we live an hour away from each other but he told me it was alright and continued to text me. He just asked me if I drink and I told him no. He said aww, I’m having a party on Sunday and wanted you to come! I said couldn’t I go and not drink and he said sure! :) So I don’t know what to think of this. At first, I thought he just wanted sex but my friend from high school said she thinks he might like me since he’s been talking to me for so long, but what does that mean if he invited me to his party and how do I act? I’ve never been to a party before and I’m kinda shy. So does he like me, should I go, and how do I act? Thanks in advance.
