We’ve been seeing each other for about two months now and he’s an incredibly lovely guy and honestly seems to want to do anything and everything for me. I do like him and he is attractive, but the problem is…. I’m just not attracted to him.
I don’t want to have sex or anything like that and it’s already begun to feel like a friendship, not anything more… but I have absolutely not idea how to ‘break-ip’ with him without it making me seem like I’m using a cliche excuse like ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ because whilst it is that… that’s just so wrong to tell someone.
I’d just appreciate some advice on how to do it?
Hi Jessie-Tell him that he is a lovely guy but you are going to free him up to date others because he is looking for/deserves more, than friendship…but friendship is all you are able to offer him. You need to stop giving him false hope here.
I agree with Peggy…I would like to add when you first meet someone there usually some kind of attraction…2 months is a long time not to feel the chemistry.
Hi Jessie better tell him to be friends than just rotating him around.
I was actually once in relationship resembling that one of yours but the only thing we did was to become friends.
