Is there a difference between goodnight my love and goodnight love u?? Because my bf text me goodnight my love and,I said goodnight I love u but he didn’t respond.
kimfHow long since the no response?
HilaryHalf hour. He prob fell asleep but I’m jw why he didn’t say love u
kimfBecause he feel asleep ;)
kimfOk..please relax and be happy that someone says something so wonderful and that’s the last thing you hear at night. Appreciate that and take it ad a gift. Don’t second guess it or pick it apart. You are lucky to hear that. Please just enjoy this and don’t analyze.
JadeHe said “goodnight my love” and you replied “good night love you”, all he did was “close” the conversation. That’s how me and my bf are. One of us says goodnight and the other says it back, there’s nothing else to say back. Hukuna Matata! ;) no worries!
SweetMarieYes, goodnight my love is sweet and affectionate and loving and original, and good night love u is your regular ordinary goodnight message. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing it out because you don’t seem to appreciate how thoughtful/loving his message was.
I don’t even understand why he would respond. He said good night, you said good night, why would he need to then respond to your response? His text was romantic and sweet, don’t get into a trap of wanting to follow a play book where he has to learn a script to follow and every time you say one thing he responds like a robot…appreciate him expressing himself like himself.
He called you my love, that is so sweet and affectionate!! Lucky you :-)
Dawg zanderluggHe called me my love what does it Mean?
AmandaWhat is with all the different handles?! And are you serious? It means he think of you in a sweet loving way. It is a pet name like “honey” “darling” “sweetie”, etc. I get the impression that the issue is he has never said “I love you”. And you never had until that text. So to answer your question, I think “I love you” is much stronger than “good night my love”. Saying “I love you” is a big step in a relationship. IT is something you should let the guy do first and it should not be done over text. (I mean the very first “I love you” should not be done over text).
Amanda RocksOoft is this all you got to do with your time ? Do you over analyse every word on every text and every move he makes. Just relax and enjoy your relationship and dont stress over meaningless stuff or the guy will soon get bored of his neurotic gf. Seriously life should not revolve around a guy like this, not healthy. x
