losing interest? Or something else

So, we had our first date literally the week before England was locked down (I know that’s bad but we were all a little ignorant then) and we’ve texted each other essentially every day since then which is probably about a month ago now.

But over the last week and a bit his replying has slowed dramatically, to the point it can be about 5 hours between replies. We’ve already said we definitely want to see each other once restrictions are lifted, but I can’t help but feel he’s losing interest, which I guess could be natural in the circumstance.

Obviously I want to keep some form of conversation going and I need someone to slap me round the face and say that it is a long time till we see each other again and 5 hours is fine. Some days we have quite quick back and forths. I did ask about FaceTime but I know he hates seeing his face… I could suggest a phone call?

So tell me it’s cabin fever and I need some fresh air, or I should lay off messaging see if he picks up on it.

Actually just tell me what to do because I clearly have no idea how to handle this…
