As a mother, I would be very particular about who my ex would have my children around. It’s possible he has mentioned to her he would like you to meet their child and she’s wanting to get to know you and who her child will be around. I think that’s totally reasonable. It’s also possible she is just trying to stir up drama. I would talk to your boyfriend about this friend request before I accepted it.
