I have to agree with Tallspicy and Newbie. You keep changing your tune. The first post you made said “it was like love at first chat”, he was a “textbook perfect match”, he was your “dream match”. You two have talked about settling down together and growing old together. These are all words from your 1st post. You are clearly head over heels for a guy you’ve never met.

Now that you’ve received criticism (which was not a bad thing, people are trying to help, no one made a personal attack or said anything hurtful)– you’re backpedaling and saying you’re texting other guys and “not desperately looking for anything, really”.

I don’t think you’re even aware of your own role in these shenanigans. You can’t see that you’re as emotionally unavailable as he is. A woman wanting a real emotional connection would not be in this situation. I don’t think you will ever meet this guy. But I do think you will willingly play his game for quite awhile, because you don’t want to untangle yourself.
