How long can you go without seeing someone you like before feelings fade?
We’re not officially dating but have admitted feelings for one another, slept together a couple of times too. It’s seems almost like a FWB situation but not really. Just wondering how likely is it to go for like 9 months without seeing one another but still retain feelings…
Not exactly optimistic about our situation. I thought of finding a rebound to get over him, but we’re all in quarantine anyway – finding someone new to date isn’t a priority and isn’t feasible.
Hey I believe that your question depends on a lot of things like what type of relationship people have, if those feelings are really truly there, and what type of person one is ex: easily on to the next, or try to work things out and follow you heart.
If you guys are considered FWB and it has been nine months I would not feel so optimistic about your situation either. Do you still have feelings for this person after nine months? also what were the circumstances that you guys were not able to have contact for nine months?
Rebounding is not a good idea (aside from the fact that you can’t anyway with Rona on our tails). If the feelings are truly there on your end life is too short, go for it and express that to that person instead of finding someone to fill a void for you. Have a conversation with that person (social distancing of course) and explore where you both are with your feelings and see where it goes, the worse that could happen is that they are not interested then that’s fine too you did your part.
