Hi there, I was watching a celebrity reality with my mom who is visiting, previously I had watched this show with him and he always said how gorgeous, sexy and good looking this woman was.
So today my Mom wanted to see an episode and this girl he likes is there and he was like she is precious and he did this weird thing with his mouth, and I tell my mom:” he loves that girl, this is his other girlfriend, he likes her a lot” and he was like “yeah shes uff espectacular,I like her a lot” in front of my mom, also my boyfriend is 17 years older than me, I’m in my early thirties, he is in his late 40s, we have been together for 3 years.
Can he be doing this to make me insecure, jealous or does it mean something more than this? I can tell by the time that I have been with him that he has the tendency to do this from time to time.
He’s kind of an idiot…
trashy. if you like trashy, then cool.
Yea, that’s pretty immature for a guy who’s almost 50yo. I could see maybe talking like that with his buddies, but not in front of me and certainly not in front of my mom, very disrespectful in my opinion!
But, it sounds like you have put up with it/condoned it for the past three years and now you’re joking about it with him in front of your mom. It sets a bad precedent. Simply tell him that it bothers you and hopefully he’ll respect that and try to stop. I was in a similar situation and after several attempts, I finally told this guy that I wasn’t going to watch certain shows with him anymore because I was tired of his sexual commentary. He finally got the message and changed his behavior.
