I had a good quiet weekend. Caught up with my nieces for about 4 hrs which was frame at fun.

I am getting a lateral transfer at work so I shall be busier thank god. Just means I stay in my own seat but work to a different boss. He’s sound as a pound so I don’t mind. All else quiet.

Thank you all for your encouragement about staying away from my ex’s drama. His family would love it if I just stepped back in and did like I always had done. I gave them his work tel. phone and his email address…..he no longer has a personal phone. That’s enough, from me.

Normal Guy maybe IS a catch. He seems enthralled with me. If we can’t see each other he calls just to hear my voice. It doesn’t seem too over the top though, as he has a full life and encourages me to do my own thing. Yeah….I’m just not used to normal. The one bummer is he travels a lot. We’ll see what happens. Right now I have no interest in dating anyone else, I think I am still working Gambler Guy out of my system.

Normal Guy talks about the future with me a lot though, and I get nervous about that, it’s just too soon, but I just smile and say “that sounds like it would be a blast.”

Sherri….all of the men you have lined up make me smile…..:)

My weekend… well, I had dinner at a friend’s, and kind of thought that was it… but on my way home O texted asking me to come by the restaurant (where he was with his guy friends)… he met me outside and asked if he could sleep at my place… and I gave him my spare key and said “don’t be too late or too drunk… and I want the key back tomorrow”… He gave me a smirk and a kiss… I said “have fun” and “see you later” and left… and around 2 am he snuck into my bed all warm and cuddly and lovely… He left after a late breakfast Sunday morning… and now I won’t see him for at least 2 weeks… I will definitely miss him… a lot…

House sales go slooooooooooooow in ireland. paperwork went back to vendors as was all wrong so I wait fro it to come back.

I’m telling yis… I’ll be lucky if i have it by Xmas ! I just forget about it and don’t bother getting stressed.

Germany… better be fun !!!! Not a word from the lads of course ! typical.

Normal Guy sends me little cards by texting too, when he is out of town. He is interested in the most mundane parts of my life…..for instance, a smoke alarm broke in my basement, and he made sure he got a replacement for me and installed it. He was soooo happy to do that.

My update is this weekend I hung with my girlfriends, and I thought P was going to be video shooting all weekend, so I never texted him, but he kept blowing up my phone wanting to hang out every night and after every shoot. I think he is stepping up his game. Tonight we are going on a date, since I told him I was sorry I didn’t see him all weekend I was busy. That’s pretty much my update nothing exciting.

It’s 3 am here…kicking up a storm and I can’t sleep. Up in 2 hrs to go house hunting again….just keeping my options open. ..I shall get lost in the dark of course but sure its all an adventure ! Glad to hear all well Pheebs and you too Cleo….keep making these men work for it !!! I may travel onto work after house hunting if I have the energy !

Bummer Sherri. Can you email him or message so you have it in writing . Do you have landlord controls that you can report landlords for not fixing things etc…If needs be

I got up at 5 am to look at other house. It was a mess though. I have now been awake 12 hours and am caffeined to the max! Wired to the moon ! Early night tonight me thinks !

Hmm… yes, I believe it was a turn on to just give him my keys and leave… it was a totally spontaneous reaction to the situation and his behavior though – he did ask me to join them, but I said “some other time” cause I didn’t want to intrude on their “guys only” dinner, AND I really liked the fact that he without hesitation knew that he wanted to spend the night with me/at my place, even though the night had not even begun, and an hour or two later lots of women would be throwing themselves at him in some club…

You girls crack me up… ledgers, horrid realtors, house hunting in the dark, useless contractors, serious beer hungovers etc. etc. etc…

Harl, that’s great that you’ve almost finished the TEFL course… and I agree with Sherri and Cleo… you should totally act like a GODESS when in Germany…

38 year old yet to message me after coming in last night …. I am letting him initiate with me. Last reply was mine. Anyway will see him at the Halloween meet up group party so no big deal. And I’m not really breaking sweat over it. Its too bad that it is already cold as he had a motorbike where I could have asked him for a ride :( .If he has changed his mind …. NEXT!!!! ;)

FWB had to cancel as he mentioned yesterday and he was told as it was his first mtg to not bring a guest. He said next time he will see if he can take me. I don’t really have any other plans tonight. So going to hit the gym and then soak up in the Jacuzzi there ….. SIGH …. Then its TV for me.

I wrote a nice message to the 42 year old that I did not see us compatible and see a future with us and all the best in his search and future. He has not contacted me after that …. so end of story for him….

Its been raining all day so I don’t know how my floor is doing. I did leave some cloths on the floor to soak up. And going to borrow a de-humidifier from a friend till the landlord makes up his mind what he wants to do ….
