One day he's falling in love and the next day he's distant

Well, Same thing happened to me. The man refers to me as girlfriend. Says he loves being with me and poof, nothing. He is recently divorced (1 year). I would advise not taking any man to seriously that is that fresh from a divorce. I am 55 and he was 53. I am so damn particular and when I was able to put myself out there and really let all inhibitions go, I get dumped. Oh well. But I don’t know about letting him have his space for too long either. I would let him know you don’t appreciate him not letting you know he needs some space first of all. And see what he says. I would not be a puppet on a string ever ever ever, because he will undoubtedly think it is ok to treat you that way any time he gets cold feet. Be nice about your feelings but let him know immediately. Why is it always about the man and his feelings anyway. That is crap.
