So, there is this guy I have really good chemistry with. He has given me hugs several times. One time he wiped under my eye and then touched the side of my face with his hand (he cupped my cheek). He used to give me a lot of compliments, and recently he suggested I could be his tour guide when he goes to another city that I am familiar with. He also touches me a lot (he’s squeezed my shoulder many times on bare skin, touched my knee, sat close so our feet touched, etc.)
Okay, is there any chance he is NOT flirting???
The surprise on this post is that it is not easy for us to date or for him to ask me out. The reason is that he is my medical doctor. Yes, I am telling the truth, he has done all of these things! What do you think his intentions are and what can/should I do? I do really like him and would like to take things further, maybe go out for a date.
You can not date your Dr.
Find a new Dr.
I would say he’s definitely coming onto you because that’s a lot of unnecessary touching and very unprofessional.
It’s creepy, but I guess if you like eachother do tell him about what you’ve notice and ask him if you’re reading that wrong. Make sure he’s not married looking for a side hook up.
Also you absolutely need to get a new doc. Because whether he’s flirting or not or whether you ask him if he is or not you can’t proceed with him professionally.
You have to wonder how many other of his patients he as touchy with…
