Hi P, it’s good to hear from You!

I’m glad to hear you’re working on your stuff… I hope you find what ever it is you need to find to move forward from this exhausting ‘relationship.’

Hi P – admin here! I’m sorry you had trouble posting. I’ve been trying to fix-up the quirks of the forum recently, so when you mentioned you had trouble posting, it caught my attention.

I took a look at the forum logs, and I think I may have seen what happened. Did your post happen to contain the phrase “https://” from a URL? If it did, then the anti-spam-robot may have just rejected the whole post outright, without me even seeing it. (There are always some really aggressive spammers trying to post on the forum, and so the forum rejects some things right away so as not to bog down the system. Sorry about that!)

If you still have your text ready to post, try removing that URL and see if it’ll go through.

And if your post really didn’t contain any URLs, then I definitely will need to look deeper. In that case just let me know.

Also best wishes to you, I hope everyone has more insight when you’re able to get your post through!

Ah, I got kicked out of here. Life us good. Still single. Had a good few hookups…nothing serious.

Just moved house again as changed my job and wanted to be nearer family and friends. Am in a town now….lots of hunks everywhere!!

House needs complete renos. Wee 33yr old builder has an rye for me.. or my bank balance !!! But he’s running scared.

Time will tell. Very flattering…as I am 54!

He’s on other jobs for a few weeks now….so see if he misses me…and the bank balance

He’d only be a roll in the hay anyway…too young.But.. its all good, clean fun.

    Hi all,

well I have an update… I’m no longer with my girlfriend. I was in the midst of breaking it off as I had enough of her erratic swings in mood and angry meltdowns.

She was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder when she went for an assessment at the psychiatrists for possible ADHD. She took it so badly they had to call in a CAT team for help with her aggressive behaviour. She had no idea that she was that bad.

This is my second BPD person in a row that I have opted into a relationship with and stayed for a bit. This highlights a major issue with my obviously unresolved Co dependent personality and how i seem to want to play the rescuer role. There was a few of you pointing out to be the issue, thank you for trying. I feel lucky that her diagnosis really reflects my gaping deficit in my tolerance to what would send a normal/healthy person running a mile.

there is a lot of literature on the dance of BPD and Codependency and why BPD are attracted to us. We never leave! She is getting the help she needs finally and I’m off to do the same.

Hi P, Thanks for the update…

I’m sorry things didn’t turn out like you hoped AND in my very same breath, glad that you are finally out & are seeing the type of help you need.

P, big hugs and thanks for the update. I’m relieved for you. You were trying so hard to make it work. I’m glad to hear she got a proper diagnosis and is getting help now. This is time for you to breathe, recover and heal whatever it is inside you that feels it must rescue others. Keep letting us know how you’re doing, you have friends who care about you here.

I got an answer in only two tries last week. It was a very exciting 5 minutes!

“the Forum has been an extremely quite for a week, less the occasional trolls”

I suspect the low activity is because for whatever reason the forum posts no longer show up in Google results. And that was one of the main reasons people would stumble upon this place.

@Maddie, When you’re playing Wordle do you use different starter words?

    #944132 Reply
    Maddie

Yes! Yesterday’s word probably doesn’t affect today’s, but I switch up to all different letters from whatever the last answer was. Keeps it fresh. How about you?

@Maddie, I use the same starter words… Interesting idea using the word from the previous day as your starter!

ADIEU – always my starter! It’s rich on nutritional vowels. :D

I tried ADIEU & found not enough consonants…
