Not sure if this is the right advice forum but any advice on how to have a strong sense of self worth after the guy you were dating for 4 months lost interest? It’s even worse that he is now seeing someone else and is seemingly happy with them. Just makes me feel like there’s something lacking in me.

It’s also sucky because he was so invested, passionate and initiated everything (conversations/dates), would talk about future plans (going on trips, say things like “this is what a relationship is”, etc) and then suddenly stopped.

    Thanks I’m advance,

That’s the sad thing about dating, there’s always a chance that it won’t work out and that the other person might, change their mind or not feel the same ad you dom

The 3-4 months is where people usually start showing their true colors, that’s where most breakups, ghosting and fizzling out happens after a whirlwind ‘romance’. It’s where things go to the next level or come to an end.

What this guy’s actions tell you is, he wasn’t serious and ultimately he wasn’t sincere and he did you a favor by leaving, thus leaving you free to be with an even better person. It’s his loss, honestly.

Your pride took a hit, you’re probably feeling hurt and like a fool but you’ll be okay. Process the emotions and don’t try to run from them, but also be kind to yourself and love yourself even more.
