I just got out of 4 year same sex relationship. A little over two months ago. I had nooo plans on meeting anyone or even being interested in anyone else. Up until I met this guy 3 weeks ago. I had fully planned on working on my relationship after her and I took some space and time apart. Then I met him. At a work event, we work in the same industry and attend a lot of the same events. We met and spent the night together just talking, it was amazing. And we’ve talked every day since. He texts me, calls me, and FaceTimes me when he’s traveling. He lives almost 3 hours away from me and travels a lot for work as he’s an athlete. He flat out told me he had a crush on me when he saw me two work events ago, but we didn’t talk or hang out until the most recent one. He even picked me up from the airport last night, and worked a work trip into the visit so he could come. I guess the advice I’m looking for is howwww do I 1.) Talk to a guy who lives that far from me. Because obviously we can’t see each other whenever we want and 2.) He likes me right? I haven’t dated a guy in over 4 years… we did hook up. And I feel like it strengthened our connection but obviously I’m the girl so I would feel that way. 3.) he hasn’t told me he likes me but he’s told me multiple times and last night that he has a crush on me. Is that the same thing?
I think you should just go with the flow, enjoy the present and see how it pans out. If things start gettin serious and you find that distance is a hamper going ahead, then retthink…
But in any case it seems that the earlier relatnship is over.
