Should I text him?

I have been talking to my ex for a while now years after our breakup from when we were just kids. Now that we’re a little older, I expected we’d matured but I guess I was wrong. Ever since rehashing, we’ve been very on and off and I finally got sick and tired of him blocking/unblocking, leading me on only to leave me with nothing, etc etc. so I removed him from social media and blocked his number. Today, I guess he tried calling me but it didn’t go through obviously so he tried adding me back on social media and contact me through there. For the first time in this “relationship” I feel like I have the power. My question is should I just leave his message and not respond or should I answer and communicate why I blocked him and if he doesn’t change his actions, I’m done? Although I feel like he’ll just tell me what I want to hear like he’s done before.
