Anon, good for you! This “man” does not deserve one second of your thoughts or time. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing all along.

Not sure if he is just a narcissist, but some tendencies seem to be there. Or, he may just have a bruised ego after a cheating ex-wife (I think you said his ex cheated?)and your refusal to jump at his living together invitation, but he is definitely playing games with you. It almost seems like he is trying to punish you.

No matter the reason, no matter the why, is does not matter. He is a creep. I would not reply or respond in any way.

I would block him on all social media and if I ever saw him again I would completely ignore him. I would only respond if it was in a professional setting, and then I would be very cool, and completely detached in a way saved for clients.

The best way to deal with someone like this, is NOT deal with them. As in, they are out of your life as if their existence was never there.

I can be very ruthless too (although I am very warm giving person to those who are deserving) but I would be ruthless in my detachment and disinterest with this guy.

In this way you keep your self respect and integrity in tact, while giving him absolutely nothing. Nothing is ALL he deserves.

Hugs to you, you didn’t deserve this in any way!
