Too many options, social media, access to other people easily. It is very rare to find a loyal person. Men and women both suck at this age now. God knows what is going to happen in our kids time.

I’ve dated guys for ages and made it clear what I want and vice versa and they can still do the slow fade/ghosting. The only way to find out someone’s intentions is to date them and they will show you who they are over time. If a guys only interested in sex it won’t matter if you make him wait 2 months, 6 months etc. That’s all he’s after. That has nothing to do with you. It doesn’t make you clingy asking a guy outright what’s going on. You have every right to ask that when you have invested time and energy.

Unfortunately, some people are incredibly immature and not very emotionally intelligent when it comes to these situations and slow fade/ghost rather than face things head on.They are clearly not worth your time.

It can be really hurtful when someone treats you like this but in all honesty, you dodged a bullet. They didn’t have to behave that way but they did. You’ve done nothing wrong. Just keep dating and know your worth. Don’t internalise peoples rubbish behaviour as your own downfall, its theirs!
