Upset about my crush who got a gf

Please bear with me, I’m mostly just venting but I feel disappointed and led on and I just need somewhere to air this out.

So I liked this boy in my friend group at college, and it seemed like he liked me too. The first time we ever hung out alone we cuddled and even made out a little. Things never really progressed though and there was always these weird fights going on in the group and I noticed he was hanging out with us less and less. Then I hear from his guy friends that he got a girlfriend and he told my girl friends straight up that he doesn’t like us and prefers to hangout with her.

He thinks we gossip too much and said we’re not good people, but I have no idea where this is coming from. Yes I admit we have drama but all friend groups do. I liked him a lot and we were hanging out so much before he just started distancing himself from me. He hasn’t dated anyone in all the time I’ve known him which is about two years and he’s not the type to sleep around either. Now I hear he’s been doing basically everything with her, taking her everywhere with him and he even bought bus tickets to go visit her in her city over the winter break.

I just feel upset and super disappointed. I’m just wondering what it is about her that he likes more than me. I thought he was gonna ask me out and everyone knew I liked him, then he just disappears and pops out with a girlfriend.
