My ex broke up with me back in April, since then he’s texted me a few times, mostly apologies (to which I haven’t responded) and just check in’s to see how I’m doing. We’re still friends on social media and for the part two months he’s been liking every post of mine especially pics of me. He texted me this past Friday night to see how I’m doing and I didn’t reply until mid day Saturday. Saturday night he ended up replying back and we went back and forth for a while just catching up (we haven’t done that since the breakup). I was really just replying to his questions but not asking him anything. Anyway he had to put his kids to bed so we ended the conversation and he said he “misses talking to me”. So my question is, what do you think he wants?

He broke up with you, and so far it looks like he wants to pass some time. Nothing serious, just some words. If i were you i would go back to ignoring him. Why would you still think about him when i was him who didnt want you. So he doesnt get to spend time with you or know how you are.

He’s probably lonely and wants to see if you are still available. He hasn’t sorted his feelings yet so best would be to not invest yourself too much into him. Good luck figuring out.

Covid was the main reason, however his relationship with his ex wife was weird to me. They would do a lot of stuff together with the kids and he would tell me it’s for the sake of the kids, but I believe he still had some emotional attachment to her, despite him being the one who wanted the divorce.

And the only responce to I miss you “of course you do, I am deeply missable ;-)”

Are you Bebe? I was hoping you would move on as i felt you were not letting yourself taking for granted. This guy is still not in plus he did a number on you. You know better
