What should i do?

So i got into a relationship with this guy just 1 month ago. We know each other since we were kids. The thing is, he came over to my house last week and told me that he wanted to have sex with me but he asked me if it was too early, so i told him i still wasn’t ready because it was my first time, he understood and told me he will wait for me. This week he came over again to my house and told me if we could do it, in which i reply with the same answer.

I noticed that he got upset and got a bit quiet afterwards, then told me that he didn’t think i love him as much as he does and if i wasn’t ever going to let him touch me. He left the country 3 days ago and is not returning until December, so we won’t be able to see each other until that. I told him if he really loves me he will wait for me until he comes back. Did i do okay?

If you were not ready to have sex, you were not ready. Period. So thats totally ok and good for you for sticking to your feelings. But what i dont understand why you keep him as a bf while he is gone for 10 months. I would have said, Lets if we still like each other when you come back and if we ae still available. Because what are you going to do now? Wait for him?
