Jeff’s comment was not meant to be deliberately hurtful or dismissive. He just made the #1 mistake that men make when talking to women,which is he responded as a man would respond to another man. Men are just so used to speaking to each other in an abrupt and teasing manner,and because they are so used to this way of communicating they employ it with women. Men understand other men’s communication style,they know that male friends are constantly testing each other so they are rarely offended by anything another man says to them. Women on the other hand simply don’t understand this and accuse men of being boorish and insensitive when what men were doing was simply making the mistake of using the male-to-male communication style when talking to a woman.

My guess Stephen is that you live a reclusive life. Why would a man who doesn’t even date be trolling around in a dating site? Apparently you use the same t hnology you say you despise to communicate with strangers about topics you choose not to even participate in. I am sure there are forums for asexual people out there. Why aren’t you talking with like minded people?
