Labels are a two way street.

Yeah you could say it’s not important because it’s just a word, but at the same time, if it’s not important, it shouldn’t be an issue for him to do it (if he really cared), since you’ve pushed for it and made it clear that it really matters to you.

Conclusion, the label IS important to both of you, he is NOT willing to give it to you and it’s not a good idea to give up something that clearly means so much, because you’re afraid of losing the potential you think this man, who is unwilling to commit to you, even in this small way, has.

My fella locked me down – said yes we’re new to each other and we need to explore, find out more about one another (this was really early on 2 months) but lets be gf/bf with a view to changing that if we’re not happy in any way with each other, (l was very reserved) but he KNEW l was someone he wanted to win/take off the market.
Men want what they want. Simple. Men who can’t decide,,imo don’t think its you.

Vanessa, it is an old post but its a GREAT TOPIC that I wish could stay “on top” (like the rules and how to have a picture) as it would ANSWER a lot of these regular questions without having to re-post them over and over and over. We had discussed this with Eric a while back, when he established the ‘categories’ but it was never implemented.
