    This really cute guy at work told me he’d be going to the gym after work. It kind of came out of nowhere. He isn’t in quite as good shape as he used to be because he has an injury, so he told me “I’m going to the gym after work to try to stay in as good shape as I can while I heal.”

    Do you think he was trying to impress me? If not, why would he tell me that?

    Probably not. He was probably just making small talk about going to the gym. Most guys I’ve met that work out talk about working out and it has nothing to do with impressing a woman. If he said, feel my biceps then maybe but just sounds like small talk for now.
