Shortly: met on tinder, had normal conversations – seemed like he was really into to getting to know me (remembered all the details, asked about my life etc.) I showed genuine interest in him too.
We had a nice second date. After it, he said “I can show you where I live btw”. We drived around his neighborhood and he showed his parent’s place.
I was thinking of the possibility that maybe he was trying to get me to come over to his place? On the first date he somehow mentioned he’s often home alone. Then on this second date, he made like a slight/innocent jokes about eg. Bj’s or erections. It just crossed my mind that MAYBE he decided to show his place to encourage me to say “I can come over”? Like I honestly don’t come up with a reason why he’d show the house in the first place. Is it over analysing?
TallspicyYes, over analyzing. It would be a yellow flag to me if someone told me they are alone often.
Plus, you should be social distancing right now.
RavenHe was talking about BJ’s & erections on your second date? What a gentleman!
Not…
Liz LemonI’m with Raven. I’d be less concerned about him driving me past his house. I’d be more concerned that he’s making jokes (not even one joke, but multiple jokes?) about erections and BJs on a 2nd date (no matter how slight and seemingly innocent the jokes). That’s tacky to say the very least. A guy who is trying to impress you and/or thought of you as girlfriend material wouldn’t do that, he’d be on his best behavior on the 2nd date.
PaigeHe wanted to have sex with you………
NewbieIn the other post you said he showed you his workplace but you were mostly concerned he Didnt ask you out again. I think driving for 10 minutes to his parents house/his workplace is odd, especially the parents house if he is not living there. Could have been clumsyness involved or a weird move to get you in bed. I dont know. It doesnt really matter if he isnt asking you out again. Plus i agree with raven that erection jokes are too soon on a second date
