Hello there,
I’ve been seeing this guy for about 3 years, we don’t have a label, and majority of the time he’s leading the way. Lately, he’s been making this relationship more than just “nice”, he’s been taking steps and making changes here and there and I’m thrilled about it. I also don’t want to over think it, so I’ll live in the moment. The one thing I have noticed is that I’ve had initiate sex for the first time in a while, and (long story short) it was a bit embarrassing.
I’m wondering how can I ignite the spark again and initiate sex without it looking/sounding like “This is all I came here for”?

Can you explain what you mean he’s making the relationship more “nice”? Not sure what you’re getting at in your question.

You’ve been seeing him for 3 years and don’t have a label? It’s not a relationship, then? Honestly I’m confused. If you don’t even have a label with this guy after 3 years it must be a very casual arrangement, I assume? So who knows. If you don’t have a label or a commitment, maybe he’s sleeping with someone else.

After 3 years you shouldn’t have to worry that initiating sex with your man will make him think “that’s all I came here for”. Do you only get together with him for sex? My point is, if you were in a relationship and spent time together as a couple, then initiating sex would not be a big deal, it would just be one aspect of the relationship. It would just be one of many things you did together as a couple. So if he were your boyfriend, you wouldn’t feel this way (if he were your boyfriend he’d be thrilled that you were initiating sex!). Since he’s not your boyfriend, who knows.
